A perpetrator was arrested on Shabbos afternoon after pointing what appeared to be a rifle, in Crown Heights.
The incident occurred near Schenectady Ave and Empire Blvd at approximately 1:00PM. One of the Shmira Shabbos Patrol units observed the perpetrator pointing a rifle case with what appeared to be a rifle at surrounding buildings.
When he was detained, a rifle case containing a bow and arrow was recovered and he was promptly placed under arrest.

Around 7am, I saw him standing in front of the next house after the building of the Sifriah. It seems to me, that he left when he saw me coming closer. I kept looking at him, when he was crossing the service road. Because of his long black bag, i was suspicious that it could contain a gun. But he looked so troubled by being noticed, that I continued to walk towards my destination.
