As the new year begins and young Chabad Yeshiva students prepare to embark on their vigorous journey through the books and pages of Yeshiva, parents cannot help but feel a slight sense of anxiety.
A restlessness that comes from not knowing who will care for your child, wondering who will guide him, encourage him and inspire him?
But in order to propel the growth and maturity of your son, you know that this is the road that he must take.
“Talmidim Hashluchim” have long aided Yeshivas with a much needed personal touch towards younger students.
While still bochurim in their own right, they are relateable mentors, there for the sole purpose of helping your son thrive in his new environment.
Building on its success over the last three years, “Unzere Kinder” seeks to empower these young leaders, helping them understand the tremendous responsibility that they possess.
In preparation for the upcoming year, and to equip them with the tools they need to be successful Shluchim, the team at Unzere Kinder has organized a Luncheon – Workshop for the Talmidim Hashluchim of 5774-5775.
Organizers have been working rigorously to compile a data base filled with mivtzas, programs and general tips on how to be a better Shliach.
Each Shliach in attendance will receive a USB stick containing this detailed directory.
The luncheon will take place Monday 29 Av (25 August) at the Maple St Synagogue in Crown Heights.
Speakers will include: Rabbi Shmuli Avtzon – Mashpia, YTTL Chovevai Torah, Rabbi Mendy Schapiro – Mashpia, Yeshivas Ohr Elchonon Chabad in Los Angeles, Rabbi Z.L. Markowitz – Chinuch Advisor of Merkos Leinyonei Chinuch, Rabbi Mendel Duchman– Fundraising coach to Shluchim worldwide, and Ari Raskin– Shliach to LA Mesivta 5771.
Please be sure to save the date.
