Back to the actual classrooms…
The Lubavitcher Yeshiva and Oholei Torah boys schools in Crown Heights announced that they will be opening the upcoming school year with in-person learning, months after they closed classrooms due to the pandemic.
Both schools announced they will be issuing “specific guidelines and precautions that will be put in place to ensure the students are learning in the safest way possible,” as well as staff and faculty.
The Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street will be reopening on Tuesday, 12 Elul – September 1.
Oholei Torah on Eastern Parkway will be reopening:
Preschool: Thursday, 14 Elul – September 3.
Pre 1-A: Wednesday, 13 Elul – September 2.
Elementary (1-8): Tuesday, 12 Elul – September 1.
Mesivta: Monday, 11 Elul – August 31.
They say they will issue specific guidelines and precautions but will they actually keep to it? It becomes difficult for the children when they come from homes that do enforce these things and then the school doesn’t enforce it and the child struggles with peer pressure to reconcile.
In crown heights no camper got Covid in any of the camps and we’re almost 7 weeks in.. schools shouldn’t have a problem running smoothly…
Better than some of the other pressures kids have been put through during this unnecessarily prolonged lockdown
Actually not sure that’s true.
What about the girls schools?
Let’s go back to normal immediately.
