A few weeks ago, Levi Lando, a beloved father and grandfather from Chicago who works as a Mashgiach in Idaho several days every month, became seriously ill.
Unfortunately, he faced a medical emergency that began with coughing and quickly escalated, leading to the failure of several vital organs. Levi was promptly taken to the local hospital, where the medical team managed to stabilize him, Baruch Hashem.
Now, the focus is on ensuring Levi’s safe return home to be with his family, friends, and doctors. Hatzolah Air’s volunteer medical board and case managers have jumped in to help Levi and his family navigate what the best way to get him home is.
