The Lubavitch Yeshiva of London, under the auspices of the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Hertz were recently tested on the entire Mesechta of Bava Kamma by one of the world’s most prominent Rabbonim.
The bochurim where tested by Rabbi Elchonon Halperen, the Rabbi of Northwest London. He was accompanied by his son Rabbi Chaim Halperen, a well known Dayan and Rav in the community.
Rabbi Halperen told the students about the unique correspondence that he shared with the Rebbe.
The Siyum on the Mesechta will be on Sunday night at the Yeshiva.
The Yeshiva in London is one of the only Lubavitch Yeshivas in the world that adheres to the Rebbe’s strict directive that Yeshivas should remain open throughout the summer.
