As preparations are underway for the major Gimmel Tammuz event, local Crown Heights stores and Shuls are joining hands with the event organizers.
Crown Heights establishments will be distributing custom shopping bags, in the lead up to the event.
In addition, 30 Crown Heights Shuls are scheduled to speak about the event this Shabbos, encouraging all men, women, and children to participate.
“This event is each local Shul’s Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen,” says Rabbi Moshe Pinson of Beis Shmuel Chabad. “Aside from our own Shul Farbrengens, let’s unite together as a whole, next Sunday on Eastern Parkway.”

Ahavas Achim – Empire Shtiebel, Ahavas Yisroel, Aliya, Beis Levi Yitzchok, Beis Menachem Mendel, Beis Rivka, Beis Shimshon, Beis Shmuel – Chabad, Beis Bentzion – Young Israel, Bnei Solomon Zalman – Frankel Shul, Bris Sholom, Chevra Shas, Khal Chassidim, Kolel Menachem, Ksav Sofer, Maor Menachem, Merkaz L’dovrei Ivrit, Merkaz Sepharad Chabad, Nosson’s Shul, Reb Getzel’s Shul, Reb Michoel’s Minyan, Sosnovitz, The Besht Center, The Lincoln PL. Shul, The Mitzvah Center, The Shul, Torah Uteffilah – Shain Shul, Unzer Shul.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Chof Zayin Sivan, June 30, in front of 770 at 8PM.
