If ever there was a display of the Rebbe’s messages of ahavat yisrael and love for humanity it was evidenced at the “Surfside family” gathering. Watching the gathering from Eretz Yisrael and the vantage point of Tisha B’Av being over, it was so clear what a kiddush hashem had taken place since the collapse in such displays of achdut and Hakarat HaTov. The Rebbe’s messages of the light in the darkness and all its implications was so profoundly recognized.
