Shmuly Oirechman, the 6-year-old son of Chabad Shluchim Rabbi Shneur and Chana Oirechman of Tallahassee, Florida, is marking two years since the date of his undergoing a miraculous surgery to save his eye.
Shmuly was injured two years ago, after being shot in the eye with an arrow, and since then has undergone multiple surgeries and treatment to try and save his eye.
Doctors who are treating Shmuly have been consistently amazed at his progress, with a scheduled procedure in January canceled because “the doctor said that the eye is doing so well, there is no need to operate,” Rabbi Oirechman said.
Tonight, Rabbi and Mrs. Oirechman will share the story of their son’s path to healing, a story of Emunah and Bitachon, courage and determination, despite the odds.
The Oirechmans will share their gratitude to G-d for the miracles and Hashgacha Pratis Shmuly has experienced in every part of this journey.
