Friends and supporters of the Lincoln Place Shul and Beis Hamedrash in Crown Heights came together to celebrate Chai Elul – the birthday of the Baal Shem Tov and The Alter Rebbe.
Many came from afar to celebrate and show recognition to the Shul. The event was sponsored by Shmuel Salfati – a friend and supporter of the shul living in Manhattan.
Among the guest was noticeable the presence of philanthropist and Torah lover Mr. Simon Chetrit with his son Mr. Meyer Chetrit, both close friends of the Shul’s Rabbi.
Inspiring Torah words were shared by the shul’s Rabbi, Rabbi Meyer Shushan and Chabad Niggunim were played by Avremi Gourarie – a member of the shul – and sang along heartfully by the crowd.
At the end of the event, awards were given out to shul’s supporters who shared wishes and blessings with the crowd.
The Lincoln Shul and Beis Hamedrash is a vibrant shul located in the north of Crown Heights, hosting Tefilos and Torah Shiurim weekly as well as Farbrengens and children gatherings periodically.
