Rabbi Yosie Wilansky, the veteran pre1a teacher at Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch school in Montreal, gathers his students in a tent on the week of learning about Avrohom Avinu’s tent in Parshas Vayeira.
Across the border, his son Rabbi Dovid Leib Wilansky, the Pre1a teacher at Cheder in Baltimore, Maryland, did the very same fun activity with his students.

THESE are true mechanchim!
This is how all teachers should interact with their students.
My nephew is blessed to have Rabbi Wilansky as a teacher in Baltimore.
So proud of my dear uncle and cousin.
Keep shining as true role models.

16 years ago I taught Kindergarten and together with the kids we built a sukkah out of PVC and then for P’ Vayera we changed it into a tent. We taught the kids about hachnosas orchim and they invited their parents to come have a snack in their tent. We made cookies and lemonade. They made Baruch Haba signs which they then took home to hang on their doors.
May u go from strength to strength in ur holy work!!
