As the school year comes to a close, Lighthouse hosted its annual end-of-year party – a relaxed and meaningful morning where students, parents, and staff got to celebrate the progress made over the past months.
Parents joined their children in hands-on activities like cupcake decorating and flower vase making. It was a great opportunity to spend time together in the classroom setting and enjoy the simple, creative moments that often mean the most.
The children also performed a short program, singing songs they had been practicing and sharing a bit of what they’ve learned. It was a proud moment for both teachers and parents to see how far they’ve come, each child in their own way.
Before heading home, each child received a photo album filled with pictures from throughout the year – capturing milestones, silly moments, and everything in between. It was a thoughtful way to wrap up the year and give families something personal to hold onto.
“This wasn’t just a party, it was a way to acknowledge the effort our students put in every day, and the teamwork between school and home that supports them,” said Hadassah Cohen, director at Lighthouse.
