The Chabad Relief Fund on Long Island has been working tirelessly to assist those who have lost homes and power from Hurricane Sandy.
Shluchim have been delivering Kosher food to Jewish families staying at homeless shelters in Garden City, Long Island and are meeting with many families providing inspiration and telephone cells to reach family members.
Local Shluchim Anchelle Perl of Mineola, Yossi Lieberman of West Hempstead, Levi Gurkov of Oceanside and Eli Goodman of Long Beach have been networking day and night, even with their own damage to deal with, putting aside all else to help others in need.

these shluchim are inspirational. they’re just as needy as those they’re helping out but they’re there TO HELP! SHKOYACH!
How can we help? Blankets, clothes, supplies…or just money? Is there a drop- off place in Crown Heights?
i know at least the rabbi or the mrs of each of those shluchim and they are all AMAZING beyond!
thanks!!
what amazing shluchim!
