The 21st of Teves marks two years since the tragic accident which claimed the lives of 9 year old Avraham Dovid Liberow and 23 year old Pesha Leah (nee Roetter) Azoulay.
Rabbi Zalman Liberow, Shliach in Flatbush, Brooklyn, miraculously survived the accident. He and his wife Chani will be dedicating a new Sefer Torah in their memories, which will be kept on a Mitzvah Tank.
The ceremony will take place this Sunday, January 15.
The writing of the final letters of the Torah will take place in the Liberow residence at 12:00pm

These precious neshomos passed away in an accident on the I-80 highway near Clintonville, PA. This stretch of the Interstate is extremely treacherous and subject to frequent snow squalls that come out of nowhere and can flash-freeze the roadway in minutes! Please drive carefully when you are on this highway! If there is bad weather and darkness is approaching, pull over and spend the night at a motel.
