Levi Yitzchak Hacohen Heintz, a young man from Crown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, 6 Elul, 5780.
He was 24.
Levi, who grew up on Shlichus in the Netherlands, learned in Bais Menachem – Youth Development Program in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Crown Heights and joined Aliya Youth Center.
Friends described him as a friendly man who was passionate about music. He worked at Mendy’s Deli and later at Kingston Pizza.
He is survived by his parents Rabbi Aryeh Leib and Bracha Heintz of Utrecht, Netherlands, and siblings: Chaya Musia Baruch, Shterna Zhelezniak, Chana Heintz, Elisheva Heintz, Rina Aidel Steinberg, Shneour Zalman Heintz, Yosef Mendel Heintz, Moshe Tzvi Heintz, Devora Lea Heintz and Sholom Dovber Heintz.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Thursday, passing by 770 at 2:30 pm, with burial at Montefiore cemetery at 3:30 pm.
Shiva will take place at 1147 Lincoln Pl 2nd floor top bell

Levi was an amazing human being. He literally was always so kind, loving and supportive. We lost a really amazing soul.

This is our child , one of ours , a child of shlichum and child of the rebbe . We all need to pull our teens and young adults close to us , love them and be there for them , all of us as a community.

levi always had and will continue to have a special place in my heart. He was a sweet, kind person with a beautiful smile.
