The Levaya of Mrs. Rochel Pinson obm, the longtime devoted Shlucha in Tunisia who together with her husband Rabbi Nissan Pinson obm poneered Jewish life in North Africa, took place in Paris on Wednesday.
The Levaya will continue in Jerusalem, with burial on Har Hazeisim.
She leaves behind children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, many of whom continue in shlichus and Torah education across Europe and beyond.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Yosef Pinson, Shliach of Nice-Cote d’Azur; Mrs Faigy Hecht, Cap Ferrat, France; Mrs Tscherna Matusof, Cannes, France; Rabbi Nochum Pinson, Shliach in Brunoy, France; Rabbi Shmuel Pinson, Shliach in Brussels, Belgium.
