Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Sossonko, a longtime resident and a mashpia of the Chabad community in Miami Beach, Florida, passed away on Shabbos, 29 Nissan, 5782 at the age of 64.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Batsheva Sossonko, and children Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sossonko – Miami Beach, Florida, Mrs. Chana Altein – shlucha to Sunny Isles, Florida, Rabbi Nochum Sossonko – Walnut Creek, Florida, Rabbi Asher Sossonko – Shliach to Miami Shores, Florida, and Rabbi Moshe Chaim Sossonko, Miami Beach, Florida, and grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Mrs. Rochel Dunin from Taanach, Israel.
The levaya was held on Sunday in New York.
Shiva in Crown Heights will be on Sunday, 5:30-7:30 pm at 1219 President St.
Shiva from Monday and on will be in Miami Beach.
