Rabbi Hollender was a Member Choshuv in the Agudas Harobonim for over 50 years and participated in almost every meating even when his health declined.
I am also a member for over 20 years and at almost every meeting he would mention the Rebbe ZIA many times eighter about Shlimos Haaretz of Mihu Yehudy etc..
He was a true chosid of the Rebbe and admirer and sadly he never had children so chasidei chabad should feel a great loss of a great friend

He had many kiruvim and yechiduyos; The Rebbe gave him hora’os when he embarked on secret Shlichus’n to Russia; Also, he strongly fought the Rebbe’s war on NY Board of Rabbis and the Synagogue Council – clearly showing the importance of only Orthodox rabbis in Jewish law.
I wish to see but a glimpse of the [non-published as-of-yet] shaychus with the Rebbe and Chabad, in detail – If someone can offer some, Todah m’rosh!

Rabbi Hollander OBM was close enough to the Rebbe that he was personally sent by the Rebbe to Australia, south Africa and a number of times to the former soviet union. Although he did not consider himself a chosid of lubavitch the way he had bitul for the Rebbe is an example for chasidim to follow if you want more info im sure you can google it.
