Dear Crown Heights community member,
Unfortunately, it is a sad truth that some children are taken advantage of, and suffer abuse most often by people whom they know, and are thus familiar with them, and trusted.
Although this may begin with innocent sibling “exploration”, and in other settings, the consequences can often c.v. be devastating. We have an obligation to learn about the problem, put preventive measures in place, detect early signs, and immediately get help for both victim and perpetrator.
Knowledge is power.
We all need to be educated,(parents and grandparents) in this matter, in order to mitigate and hopefully eradicate the problem. We must keep our children safe at all times.
Having consulted with our Morah de’asra, on behalf of “Neshamos”, I would like to bring your attention to the following important presentations. Please attend,and encourage others to do likewise.This presentation will not be streamed on-line.
