After much anticipation, Let’s Farbreng! is finally here! Created by Rabbi Peretz Chein, Shliach to Brandeis University, this innovative board game captures the warmth, depth, and connection of a real Farbrengen, making it accessible to anyone, anywhere. It’s now available online, or at Judaica World or Hamafitz.
Let’s Farbreng! is designed to spark meaningful conversations, personal reflection, and camaraderie through engaging prompts, l’chaims, and songs. Whether you’re hosting a Shabbos gathering, looking to inspire deep discussion, or simply want to bring people together in a powerful way, this game provides the perfect framework.
Let’s Farbreng! is receiving incredible feedback. One recent player shared how she takes back her initial skepticism of Let’s Farbreng! and how it redefined a Farbrengen experience for her and others.
“Hey Peretz,
I wanted to share some unsolicited feedback about Let’s Farbreng! from our game night.
On Friday night, I brought out the game while my nieces were visiting. To be honest, I was initially a bit skeptical—not about the incredible effort you put into making this game a reality, but about the concept itself. However, I completely take that back!
As we played, I saw firsthand how it encouraged my nieces to open up. The conversations started flowing naturally, touching on meaningful topics, and even veering off at times—which I realized is actually part of the beauty of the game. We didn’t follow every suggested element at the end, but even just playing it in our own way, the game created such a powerful space for connection.
What stood out most to me was how Let’s Farbreng! propels conversation forward, especially in situations where a group is gathered but the discussion isn’t naturally taking off. This is particularly relevant for women and girls, who often label a gathering as a “Farbrengen” when, in reality, it’s just a speaker giving a talk.
It was fascinating to see how the high schoolers (and those just out of high school) engaged with it. I was really inspired by the way they took to the game, and I truly think it has so much potential. I’m going to do my best to promote it for schools—high schools, seminaries, and beyond—because I believe it could be an amazing tool to facilitate deeper conversations in a structured yet organic way.
This is such a brilliant concept, and I’m excited to see how far it goes!”
Let’s Farbreng! can be purchased here, or at Hamafitz or Judaica World!
