Every Tuesday night, in the lively center of Tel Aviv—the city that never sleeps—a special scene unfolds. Bochurim from Chabad Yeshiva – Chazon Eliyahu, a Baal Teshuva yeshiva with students from all around the world and from right here in Tel Aviv, gather with young adults from across the city for an hour of shared Torah study and connection.
In a warm, Chassidishe atmosphere, many come to study one of the Rebbe’s Sichos on the Parsha and current topics, particularly from Likkutei Sichos, finding inspiration that bridges timeless wisdom with modern life. These gatherings, widely known as Seder Sichos, are marked by genuine conversation, energy, and a sense of unity that reflects the heartbeat of Tel Aviv itself.
This week’s study was dedicated to the memory of Rabbi Tzvi HaKohen Kogan, Hy”d, a beloved graduate of the yeshiva who served as a devoted emissary in the UAE. Refreshments were generously sponsored by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak HaLevi Duchman, Head Shliach of the UAE.
Throughout the years, the Talmidim HaShluchim have seen these Tuesday night Seder Sichos as an important tool to draw more people to the yeshiva and to bring more Yiddishkeit to Tel Aviv.
Beyond these weekly sessions, the Shluchim of Chazon Eliyahu are actively involved in a range of outreach efforts throughout the city. From Tefillin campaigns and study circles to Farbrengens and Shiurim, they are Neiros Lehoir, along with the bochurim, bringing light and inspiration to the streets of Tel Aviv—truly living up to the city’s title as “A place that never sleeps.”
