Learning in Holtzberg’s Memory

Mishnas Gavriel is a project of Igud Menahalei Yeshivos, founded to perpetuate the memory of the Shluchim Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg Hy”d.

Select students from Oholei Torah and United Lubavitch Yeshiva of the 6th and 7th grades study Mishnayos Seder Moed every evening. The talmidim are tested in writing after each two perakim and receive a monetary deposit into their G’mach Gavriel account. The goal is to complete the Seder within these two years.

The boys of grade 7 were ‘M’Sayem’ the Seder on Sunday afternoon, Rosh Chodesh Tammuz 5770 in Oholei Torah. Present were the principals of the two yeshivos and fathers. Schneur Zalman Butman, a talmid of Oholei Torah, said the Hadran, a Sicha from the Rebbe.

The talmidim were awarded a certificate testifying to the completion of the Seder. The Maggidei Shiurim, Choli Rivkin and Sender Lustig were recognized for their efforts.
