For the second consecutive year, the Talmidim HaShluchim group of Chovevei Torah Mesivta in Crown Heights took the bochurim on a grand skiing trip as part of a reward for participating in a Mivtza called “warm up your winter.”
Students who earned the trip all made hachlotos with their Mashpi’im, learned Sichos, and Mamorim of the Rebbe by-heart – totaling hundreds of hours of learning late at night and during breaks.
The trip began with the bochurim piling into a charter bus and headed to the Chabad House in Scranton. There they studied Chassidus, davend, and headed to the slopes.
They then headed to ski lesson for all the new skiers, finally tackling a new subject that really hurt their heads.
The group took an afternoon break for Mincha and resumed skiing. As the day concluded they had a massive barbeque, with a grand Sader Chitas hosted by Rabbi Green.
The bochurim all had a great time and one even commented, “I was looking for something to complain about and couldn’t find anything!”
A special thank you to Hatomim Hashliach Shaya Shpielman for all his hard work that made this trip possible.
Boruch Hashem they feed the bochurim these days 🙂
