Mrs. Chana Segal, a Chabad Shlucha in Rishon Letzion and mother of 9 children, passed away on Tuesday, 4 Cheshvan, 5778 at the age of 40.
She was diagnosed with a terrible illness only a month and a half ago, and had been undergoing treatment in Houston, Texas.
A full crowd came out on Tuesday night for the levaya which passed 770 Eastern Parkway at 9:30 PM on the way to burial in Tzfas, Israel.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Eliyahu Segal, and 9 children.
She is also survived by her parents, Rabbi Zalman Eliyahu and Rochel Hendel, and siblings Nechama Dina Deitsch – Petach Tikva, Israel, Levi Hendel – Crown Heights, Mendy Hendel – Crown Heights, Shmulik Hendel – Kfar Chabad, Israel, Yossi Hendel – Beer Sheva, Israel, Devorah Leah Zilbershtrom – Tzfas, Israel and Sholom Dovber Hendel – Or Yehuda, Israel.
