150 Israel-born Chabad bochurim learning in the Kvutza program in the Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim – 770 traveled together for a special visit at the Rebbe’s Ohel.
The overflow crowd of bochurim was joined by many guests who are visiting for Gimmel Tammuz, packing into 3 buses to travel to the Ohel for the final week of a 6-week project to visit the Ohel once a week ahead of Gimmel Tammuz.
The bochurim traveled to the Old Montefiore Cemetery with permission of the Yeshiva’s hanhalah as a preparation for Gimmel Tammuz.
At the Ohel, the bochurim learned together a Sicha of the Rebbe, filling one of the tents and inspiring the many visitors from all walks of life who were also visiting the Ohel and witnessed the sight of so many bochurim learning together.
Many of the bochurim used the opportunity to daven at the Ohel and then davened Maariv.
They later joined an inspiring Chasidishe Farbrengen with Shliach Rabbi Shloime Wilhelm, as a preparation for Gimmel Tammuz, which went on until 12:30 am.
They were then brought back to Crown Heights via the buses as well.
The buses were sponsored by the generous funding of Yossi and Nechama Katz and family, in honor of the Rebbe.
