With the encouragement and guidance of the 770 Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shneur Zalman Labkowsky, a Smicha program was opened by the Igud Talmidei Hakvutzah, parallel to the program directed by Rabbi Labkowsky himself.
The bochurim’s study is accompanied by personal guidance and a number of classes each week so that the bochurim learn all the dinim of Isur and Heter.
Heading this program is Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusevitz, known for his skills and knowledge. The bochurim learn throughout the year and are prepared for their final exam, during which they are tested by Rabbi Tuvia Kasimov, Rabbi Shmuel Chaim Bluming, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusevitz.
At a festive event this week, the bochurim were tested on each section by the Rabbonim, after which the bochurim received their Smicha certificates.
The Rabbonim who tested the bochurim were greatly impressed by their knowledge on the subject.
During the event, the Rabbonim participated in a Farbrengen with the Bochurim, and noted the great merit the bochurim have to have completed their smicha studies and expressed their admiration to the bochurim for their achievements.
During the event, the bochurim presented Rabbi Yusevitz with a gift as a token of their appreciation for his dedication to them throughout the year, and Rabbi Yusevitz presented each bochur with a memento of their year as well.
Igud Talmidei Hakvutzah said they are pleased with the results of the program, and plan to continue and expand it for the upcoming year.
