Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, the secretary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and chairman of Chabad’s central organizations Merkos L’inyochei Chinuch and Machne Israel, marked the second yartzeit anniversary of his wife on Tuesday.
Standing in the rain and flanked by his children and grandchildren, Rabbi Krinsky prayed near the grave of Mrs. Devorah Krinsky OBM at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Cambria Heights, Queens.
Since her passing in 5773 at the age of 74, the family has been making dedications in memory of Rebbetzin Krinsky, a partner and pillar of support to her husband as he served the Rebbe.
This past year, a new Torah scroll as well as new editions of the Machzor Rosh Hashanah and Machzor Yom Kippur, published by Kehot Publication Society, were dedicated to her.
The building of Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, led by her granddaughter and her husband Rabbi Dovid and Chana Vigler, will be dedicated later this year in memory of Rebbetzin Krinsky.
At the grave on Tuesday, family members said Tehillim and the Kaddish. During her lifetime, Rebbetzin Krinsky actively encouraged her husband to write down his memories of working in the Rebbe’s presence.
“She pushed me to write. I didn’t,” Rabbi Krinsky said at a memorial after her passing. “Now, with Hashem’s help, I will begin to spend time writing.”

very special family there my great aunt and uncle
Dvora will always be remebered for her gentle smile, her warmth and friendship. I always enjoyed meeting her at Shabbos learning classes at 770 Montgomery Street. We enjoyed spending time with her after class. She is truly missed.
Elegant, royal yet personable. Serving the Rebbe through her equally elegant and devoted husband Rabbi Krinsky, the Rebbe’s trusted secretary and point man.
Her value far exceeds that of gems.
Give her praise for her accomplishments and let her deeds laud her at the gates.
I will always love her :((
