A new Kosher eatery has opened in the growing Jewish community in Kingston, Pennsylvania, this week.
Bagel Bar, a contemporary bakery and cafe located at 378 Pierce Street in the heart of Kingston, aims to deliver a harmonious fusion of mouthwatering flavors, inviting ambiance, and a sense of community.
Owners say the eatery is poised to become the ultimate hotspot for those seeking a perfect blend of delectable flavors, cozy ambiance, and warm community vibes.
With its carefully curated menu featuring an array of artisanal bagels, freshly brewed coffees, tantalizing spreads, and a variety of scrumptious pastries, owner Motti Hershkop said Bagel Bar aims to redefine the bakery and cafe experience in the city.
Using the traditional methods of NY kettle-boiled bagels, the culinary team at Bagel Bar takes no shortcuts in creating the perfect creation the informed Bagel enthusiast has come to love. With an emphasis on quality ingredients and innovative recipes, Bagel Bar is set to become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
“Bagel Bar is more than just a bakery — it’s a place where people can gather, connect, and savor the simple pleasures of life,” Hershkop said. Mendy Shechter is the manager of the Bagel Bar.
A large crowd, including state Reps. Aaron Kaufer and Alec Ryncavage, Luzerne County Council Member Matt Mitchell, Kingston Mayor Jeff Coslett and Administrator Paul Keating and Mark Grochowski representing Sen. Lisa Baker, turned out for the ceremonial ribbon cutting and the line was long to sample some of the menu items at the Bagel Bar.
“We are thrilled to finally open the doors of Bagel Bar to the Kingston community,” Hershkop said, adding that Bagel Bar’s commitment to a unique dining experience is just a small part of what sets it apart in the culinary landscape.
He said the establishment’s interior design is a testament to its dedication to providing a welcoming space that reflects the essence of Kingston’s vibrant spirit.
