Knesset members and staff, government ministers, media personalities, JNF leadership, national federation leaders, a wedding party of 70, locals and visitors from countries all over joined at Chabad of Midtown Manhattan this past weekend.
Almost 200 people enjoyed a spirited gourmet Shabbat Dinner. Rabbi Joshua and Brocha Chana Metzger welcomed all warmly.
Many were in town for events and conferences in conjunction with the Israel Parade on Fifth Avenue. During the parade, people stop in to rest, drink, pray and enjoy the Chabad Center.
At a special seuda shlishit, Knesset members Yitzhak Pindrus, Simcha Rotman and Former Minister of Religion Yitzhak Vaknin spoke movingly about Chabad’s impact on the Jewish People.
The Knesset members joked that if a Knesset vote were to take place this weekend it would need to take place at Chabad Midtown.
Chabad of midtown always outdoes itself !
