A Kinus Torah marking the 150th yartzeit of the Tzemach Tzedek took place in Montreal, attended by many Rabbis, community members and bochurim.
Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz, Principal of Bais Rivkah Montreal, recounted about the 100th year of the passing of the Tzemach Tzedek and what the Rebbe’s lessons were then, connecting them to the 150th year as well.
Rabbi Avrohom Benshimon, author of various seforim, spoke about the Tzemach Tzedek’s connection to the Rogatchover. Rabbi Meir Shneur, who compiled a Sefer about the Tzemach Tzedek, spoke about the chain of events and the Rebbe’s directives while the book was being written.
The formal event was followed by a farbrengen to mark the Rebbe’s father’s birthday.
