Momentum is building all over South Florida in anticipation of the Yud Aleph Nissan Farbrengen Celebration which will take place Wednesday.
Thousands are expected to attend the event on Wednesday, 5 Nissan, April 6, 5782 at 7:30 PM at the City Center in Pembroke Pines.
World-renowned producer Ronen Peled, who is known for his production of the Kinus Hashluchim and Kinus Hashluchos banquets in New York, has signed on to produce the massive event which will unite the Chabad community and Shluchim from throughout South Florida.
Director of Chabad of East Boca Rabbi Ruvi New, one of the event organizers, says, “we are taking this event to the next level, in terms of production, content, messaging, entertainment and organization, as befitting such a milestone as the Rebbe’s 120th birthday.”
With Peled retained as director, “there is a palpable buzz throughout South Florida that this event will be an unprecedented event in scale, scope and unity,” Rabbi Yisroel Spalter, another organizer, says.
A dedicated group of Shluchim and Anash from all many communities are working around the clock to make the evening a smashing success for both South Florida and the global community, who will be able to watch the event via a live broadcast.
The program will include sichos of the Rebbe and beautiful brand-new videos created by JEM. At the end of the night, the goal is for everyone to leave inspired, ready to take on a practical hachlata to gift the Rebbe something in honor of his 120th birthday.
The content-packed event will feature guest speaker, renowned orator Rabbi YY Jacobson and a musical program with singing stars Shulem Lemmer and Shlomo Simcha.
The celebration, which is open to both men and women, will take place at the City Center Pembroke Pines (601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines). Tickets are $18 for general admission but free for all students.
