The Power of Jewish Children Competition from Tzivos Hashem has extended the deadline for submissions in the talent and achievement contest.
The competition, which marks 30 years of the organization’s global educational efforts, has met with great success, and over 300 entries have already been submitted, contest coordinator Zevi Steinhauser told COLlive.
“We’ve had an unbelievable response to the competition,” said Steinhauser. “We got amazing submissions from all over the world, all over the US, Israel – even from Ukraine.”
COLlive.com is one of the major sponsors of the contest, which will be judged by a panel of judges and by public votes.
The competition asked children to submit in 3 categories: heart – Chesed, hand – performance or talent, and head – achievement for exceptional studies, researching or writing.
The original deadline of January 27 has been extended to February 4, as they have received many requests to give more time for overseas and other entries to be completed.
The top 30 entries will be chosen by judges singing superstar Avraham Fried, Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten – director of operations at Tzivos Hashem, Danny Finkelman – director of Sparks productions and Israeli producer Danny Keisler.
After February 5th the top 30 will be online for the public to view and vote on their favorites at www.Powerofjewishchildren.com.
The top 10 finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip to New York City and will appear at the Tzivos Hashem Anniversary Dinner and Concert with Avraham Fried and Lipa Schmeltzer.
