Over 200 people participated in the construction of a Magna-Tile Menorah that was the highlight of the annual Chanukah celebration at Freehold Raceway Mall, Sunday, December 21, 2014.
Each year Chabad and the Raceway Mall team up to present an exciting Chanukah program that is fun, educational and hands on.
“We are always looking for new ideas to keep the kids at the edge of their seat. The Maga-tile Menorah was perfect,” said Rabbi Avraham Bernstein of Chabad. “The program has always been very popular with parents because kids, they come and learn about the holiday in an interactive way, and the kids love it because they really have a lot of fun.”
In addition to the giant “stained glass” Menorah, children enjoyed Chanukah arts and crafts, and children used their talents to create the most original Magna-tile Menorah, the event also had live holiday music and delicious Chanukah treats.
Kids (and those who are kids at heart!) participated in the decoration and construction of the giant Menorah, The Menorah was very creative, special lanterns were inserted and the Menorah was kindled with great Chanukah
celebration.
