Four years ago, Israeli journalist and media personality Sivan Rahav Meir began recording a weekly live broadcast of Shiurim in Jerusalem in front of hundreds of people. At the end of the first year, the President of Israel, Ruvi Rivlin honored her with his presence.
The shiur includes references to current affairs, the media, and quotes many commentators from Rashi to the Or Hachaim and Sichos of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The wildly popular shiur will be recorded and broadcasted throughout this year from Flowmotion Studios in Crown Heights.
The weekly Shiur will take place at Flowmotion Studios and will be streamed on her YouTube channel, Facebook, Twitter, Galei Israel radio, and on EL AL flights in English and Hebrew every Tuesday.
Sivan Rahav-Meir was chosen by Globes magazine as the most popular female media personality in Israel, and by the Liberal magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in Israel. The Jerusalem Post newspaper cited Rahav-Meir as one of the 50 most influential Jews in the world.
Sivan and her husband Yedidya, along with their children, are in the United States, on behalf of the Mizrachi movement.
