As the great Yomtov of Hei Teves is upon us, the hearts and minds of Chassidim the world over are turned to the celebration for the 30th Anniversary of day that the Rebbe instituted as a “Yom Segula v’Eis Ratzon”.
Over the last few weeks, a momentum of inspiration has built up among men, women and children who’ve delved into the Sichos, participated in the wildly popular Hei Teves school curriculum and organized community Farbrengens for the day of Hei Teves. At this time, hundreds of Chassidim are making their way to the Ohel to mark this occasion in the “daled amos” of the Rebbe.
A “Kol Koreh” (Public Declaration) has been issued by prominent Rabbonim and Mashpiim from around the world imploring Anash to fulfill the Horaos of the Rebbe regarding this day. Most notably, the Rebbe requested – in the days following the Nitzachon – that everyone should write their requests which will be taken directly to the Ohel.
In a display of exuberant joy, a special song was composed in honor of 30 year for Hei Teves. The history of the day and its meaningful lessons were put to the tune of the famous Didan Notzach march, originally composed during the time that Chassidim offered this song as a prayer for a successful victory. This beautiful Didan Notzach composition has spread like wildfire accross the world of Lubavitch, as children and adults danced around their Menorahs to this song in exciting anticipation of the great Yom Tov which is about to begin.
”Hei Teves Celebrations – Shloshim Shono!” will begin with a special webcast streamed live from the tent adjacent to the Ohel, at 8pm tonight.
It will begin with a Sicha of the Rebbe, followed by words of greeting and inspiration from Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky and Rabbi Avrohom Shemtov, the two individuals tasked by the Rebbe with the overseeing the trial of the Seforim in the US district court. There will also be a panel-style Farbrengen as part of this “global Farbrengen”. Those who are not able to participate in person, can join via the live feed on COLlive.com.
Subsequent to the webcast there will be a Seudas Hoda’ah and Hisvadus Chassidim starting at 9:30pm. There will be numerous Mashpiim farbrenging for Chassidim, throughout the evening.
On Tuesday Hei Teves, Chassidim will gather for the central Hei Teves farbrengen of Agudas Chassidei Chabad in Crown Heights.
