Jewish Star Performs in Montreal

A Jewish Star finalist Zalman Levy performed at two Purim events in Montreal.

When word spread that a Jewish Star finalist was in town, and before he could say ‘lekker’ (lechaim, in Afrikaans), Zalman Levy was booked for Purim.

Levy was a featured guest at Chabad of the Town, where he performed before an awe-inspired audience of 200, who sang and clapped along to tunes like “Shir Lamalot” and “Anachnu Maaminim” and many other popular songs.

Ffrom there, he hastily made his way to the Montreal Chai Center’s Purim Bash, where Zalman was greeted by young fans of the Jewish Star, who chanted in unison his Soul to Soul song.

Levy sang popular nigunim while attendees danced and made merry into the night.
