1000 kids came out on a beautiful Thursday to Mayan Yisroel of Brooklyn’s annual Lag B’omer Parade and concert.
The march all the way down East 31st Street was led by Rabbi Sholom Mendelson, with a marching band, motor bikes, horses, clowns and kids with beautiful posters proclaiming love and pride in being a Jew.
Culminating on Ave N outside Mayan Yisroel, the crowd heard divrei Torah by Rabbi Yosef Vigler and Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff, Rav of Agudas Yisroel. Torah, Tefillah and Tzedaka by the children, and a most impressive FMX show ended off the event.
“Events such as these encourage children to be proud of their Yiddishkeit and excited to light up the world with Torah and Mitzvahs,” Rabbi Yosef Vigler said.
