A Jewish man was reportedly seriously injured in a neck-stabbing attack on President Street in Crown Heights Monday afternoon.
Officers of the New York Police Department are currently there outside the house of Moshe Rubashkin, a popular venue for simchas and private events.
The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital by Hatzolah paramedics.
The suspect, a white male, escaped, and police are currently searching for him.

I am a female senior citizen. I feel safe walking in Boro Park and Williamsburg, even in Flatbush. I had an appointment in Crown Heights last evening. After the meeting I went into Kingston Pizza until my ride came. I do not feel safe in Crown Heights even during the day. My son lives there and I bombard the Abishtar with prayer and Tehillim that he should be safe and all the Yehudim.
Very not normal circumstances in CH.

They intentionally and systematically and against all our petitions, placed multiple homeless drug shelters as well as migrant shelters directly into our community and near our schools. This hate crime AND ALL THE OTHERS should be national news.

As the Rebbe said, women shouldn’t be walking alone but in groups and there needs to be a local community service that drives people home if they are out at night just like before when times were rough. I don’t live in CH. I used to go there frequently. Now I avoid it as much as I can. I am a senior citizen and don’t have other people to walk with since I don’t live there. So how do I not walk alone?

presidents street residents should raise a hue and a cry about the homeless being sheltered on president street and brooklyn avenue. The lawlesness is being led by those flouting the regulations by having trailers and commercial trucks parked along the block day in day out. its close to six weeks after tishrei and the block has not returned to a shred of normalcy. These criminals are aware that the laws concerning residential streets are not being adhered to and they take advantage of the chaos.
