Tzivos Hashem International, the largest Jewish Children’s organization is now accepting nominations for its 5th annual Power of Jewish Children award, where the winners will receive a cash prize, a donation to a charity of their choice, and additional valuable prizes. Winners will be flown to New York to be a part of Tzivos Hashem’s annual Gala at the Grand Prospect Hall on December 8th, 2014, hosted by Joel Chasnoff and featuring a live award ceremony and a concert by Benny Friedman.
The award highlights the power Jewish children have to impact their respective communities and recognize their outstanding achievements. Nominations are open to all children under fourteen years of age who have impacted other individuals or their community, whether by participating in existing programs or developing their own.
Formerly “Jewish Kids Got Talent,” the event has featured incredibly talented children from across the globe. “You never know what to expect,” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive Director of Tzivos Hashem, the foremost worldwide organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of Jewish children. “The capabilities and accomplishments of the nominees get better every year. Whenever I think I’ve seen it all, another kid comes along and blows my mind.”
“To me, this is not just another concert,” said singer Benny Friedman. “It’s an honor to perform alongside these children; to be a witness and to pay tribute to children who will not only shape our future, but are effecting positive change today.”
Nominations must be submitted by November 18 at www.powerofjewishchildren.com, where the live award ceremony and Gala dinner and concert on December 8 will be streamed live. Winners will be announced on November 20th on our website. Cool video!
I love the way he comes to life in the video
Benny Friedman is a real role model for us all, in his aydlkait, behavior, dress and being.
Hashem should give him much Brocha!
The fact that Benny Friedman is a good role model gets an extra boost by his new weekly Dvar Torah with Choni Milecki.
When my kids say “look, I’m Benny Friedman” that they want to grow up to be like him – i say Totally!
you agree?
Here is a program that is a win- win for everyone. Benny Friedman is a frum role model , our kids are encouraged to do good, and the way the project is presented in an absolutely first class way and is in the realm of top design and promoted with professionalism. Without a doubt Tzivos Hashem are fulfilling the Rebbes kavonah of having all jewish children belong in Hashem’s army of goodness. I’m very very impressed!!!
Amazing! Rather than just being a talent show the program accentuates the koach of Jewish Kids. I have never in my life seen a Video as good as the one posted. I wish I was a kid again.
The quality of this video is so impressive. The audience and potential created by this program far extends beyound the Chabad community and stimulates ALL Jewish children to do Mitzvos. I am riveted by a first class production that hasn’t Bh diluted Yiddishkeit but rather broadened the base of Yiddisher kinderlach being excited by doing good !!! Kol hakavod to TZivos HAshem for living up to our Rebbes standards of excellence.
