At the recent gala dinner of the JEM Foundation, the organization previewed a few new projects in its pipeline.
One of them is a mobile app that will scan a U.S. dollar bill received from the Rebbe along with a holy blessing.
Thousands would stand every Sunday outside 770 Eastern Parkway or the Rebbe’s house on President Street in Crown Heights to merit a precious encounter.
Photos and video were generally taken of those short yet deeply meaningful moments, and the new app will be able to match the dollar with the footage now in the archives of JEM.
A source at JEM said the app would rely on crowdsourcing, with people putting in the serial number and date of the dollar they received.
They will also use artificial intelligence (AI) to document serial numbers of dollars that can be read from the photos themselves.
“It will be an approximate estimation, not a scientific one,” the source told COLlive.com, adding that the app is still in concept mode and hasn’t been developed.

That’s unbelievable!!
Thank you so much!!
We have Bh So many dollars and this can be the quickest way to find photos, rather then searching and looking through every single photo to try to find yourself on the jem web page.
Where can we find it on the photo?
You can find it on the dollar
It would costs millions to develop and troubleshoot.
When has the cost ever stood in the way of the Rebbe’s shluchim? Lechatchila Ariber!
It doesn’t seem that complicated to me, don’t see it costing that much
This is so exciting!
This is unreal and so appreciated
B”H
What if one gave away Rebbe Dollars by mistake or some were stolen, is there a way to find them through the serial numbers?
