A last-minute crisis was staved off last week at JEM. Toward the end of last week, the new film for children, My Land, was slated for release.
The boxes of thousands of DVDs arrived at JEM as scheduled and was randomly tested by the staff, to make sure they were in working order.
To their horror, all the DVDs were blank.
After investigating, they discovered that the company which duplicates the DVDs had erroneously copied a blank DVD thinking it was the master.
Aside for the customers asking for it at stores, hundreds of online orders had already been placed.
Realizing the demand for the film, the company managed to replicate and repackage enough pieces overnight to handle the initial demand.
On Erev Shabbos, the JEM fulfillment staff – Danny Freundlich, Raffi Lefkowitz, and Chaim Litvin managed to get the DVDs into the mail system to all JEMclub members.
Working around the clock on Sunday, Erev Yom Kippur, they had it delivered to stores. “A copy is waiting for you,” they said with a smile.
Don’t you get it? This is a socialist plot by the Obama party. They refuse to recognize “My land” as anywhere but Kenya, so they blanked all the DVD’s. Seriously; some of you guys just ought to listen to right-wing radio talk shows more often!
for giving me insight on

COL continues to impress me with their in-depth and well-written coverage of current events. While some may laugh, it is interesting to know what goes on behind the scenes at a place like JEM, which is pumping out one quality video after the other.
My goodness… You call this news?? Well, I guess no news is good news.
