As a member of the Montreal community I like to take the liberty to provide you with what goes on behind the scenes. A staff member at YTTL came over to me to say Jacobson is coming to farbrenge, I have no kids in the Yeshiva currently but he thought about me to keep me involved. In return I offer to help, from what I hear. one member of the community help to bring Jacobson in to speak while another member of our illustrious community sponsor the bagels another sponsored the alcohol believe it or not yet another sponsored the… Read more »

It is amazing to see the alcohol is under control!
this might be due to the recession nevertheless… impressive
In today’s volatile world! financially and spiritually..
let’s not make any illusions Yeshiva teachers are underpaid if paid at all. yet here is a dedicated bunch.
my hat’s off to you guys.
For those who don’t know much about TTL – Montreal
here’s the deal! Rabbi Weger is the most dedicated hard-working hanhalah member one can ever find..
YES, he’s hard on the boys he wants them to be good and to come in time…
but he is understanding, involved and extremely caring.
That’s the language the bochurim appreciate!
LOVE LOVE LOVE….
I was a student in Yeshiva several years ago….
I still have contact with Rabbi Kaplan till today…
No I’m not a wealthy businessman! nevertheless he makes me feel comfortable to call him from time to time to discuss my personal issues…
How many boys in today’s Yeshiva’s have someone they can call years after they leave.
Sroli nice school jumper
Sholder to sholder
the ZAL will g-d willing save the only Elementary school,

yeh R. Kaplan should help out the elementary YTTL nexdoor
he had lots of hatzlacha, despite all the prevailing excuses!
HIS leadership can set a good example for the school next door not to CH”V close down,
lets hope that the elementary YTTL rather than collapsing, learns from R. Kaplan How to be matzliach
Thank you for posting a positiv article with only positiv commends. Lets try to leave out article/ comments that are negative and only bring Sinas chinum.
did they get (or stay) up for chassidus and the rest of the seder day?
Rabbi Kaplan’s Leadership, is commendable!!
i hope R.Kaplan Helps out the foundering elementary next door,
if he gets involved B’Ez”H he can prevent it from shutting down!!
we admire Rabbi Kaplan’s success with the ochurim
I was in that yeshiva for two years. It was great. You don’t often find Yeshiva staff as dedicated as Rabbi Wenger and as caring as Rabbi Kaplan. One of the top Lubavitch Yeshivas that really gets it.
BH im really happy about this! a wonderful farbrengengen, inspired chassidim and best of all only happy comments! bh
As a young man who sat through many of Rabbi Jacobson’s Farbraingens your words summed up exactly what I felt, I always left feeling inspired. I would just cation you; Rabbi Jacobson can provide the fire but you have to keep the flame burning on a day to day basis.
Good luck and thank you for the report.
You’r report was much appreciated… so eloquently written
I think this is the only story in the history of COL with only positive comments… what’s the world coming to!!!!!
Y. Yacobson your the bomb !!! Chaim L. how amazing you can pull it off… 4 years ago the yeshiva staff wasn’t having any of it… now your on the right track… From here on it should be bigger and better…..
this is a nice inspirational farbrengen… boys listening not barfing.
All these new programs happening in the yeshiva in Montreal is thanks to the new young energetic administrator Chaim L. Keep up the great work.

The farbrengen went for like 7-8 hours, from 11pm till close to 7am. It was amazing. The singing was also beautiful. Rabbi Jacobson spoke of how special the bachurim are, and how they can empower themselves to become extraordinary individuals. He discussed the fact that sometims the hanhalah and the boys do not see eye to eye, not because the hanhalah is bad but because the bachurim came of age after 1991, when a new Moshiach energy came in to the world, and the hanhalah is still looking at the world from a galus-paradigm. And yet the Rebbe wants the… Read more »

from a grateful mother.. thanks to the Yeshiva.

Thanks for thinking of our kids and our future.
As a grateful father of one of the Talmidim there a giant Yasher Koach to the Yeshiva and Rabbi Jacobson. My son truly enjoyed the experience. Keep up the good work. We need more events like this.

you guys look like your so into it… can Col provide audio?
Go Danny! Front & center!
For all those naysayers… check out a full room of bochurim listening intently until the wee hours of the morning. we have a bright future ahead.
Rabbi’s Kaplan, Wenger, Fisher, Stern , Cohen Gurary and Langsam are the most dedicated staff and the Yeshiva world today..
this part of the yeshiva is a beacon of light in an otherwise dark and dingy city.
bochurim look interested. that’s something we haven’t seen from our youth in a while.
bochurim appreciate Jacobson & Jacobson challenges the bochurim …
You guys are trailblazers…
Great to see a Yeshiva thinking outside the box..
Look at the boys sitting and listening.. Jacobson Is speaking their language…
