Israel’s Security Cabinet voted unanimously Sunday night to approve expansion of the military offensive in Gaza.
The marathon discussion was nearly seven hours long, with the final decisions being made just before 2 am.
A senior security source said the upcoming offensive will differ from those prior to the start of President Donald Trump’s second term in office.
Israeli forces will not be carrying out raids, moving in and out of selected areas as they were forced to do during the Biden Administration, but instead will carry out a widespread military operation.
The entire Gaza population will be evacuated for their own safety from each area in which the offensive is taking place, and this time, the IDF will remain in any territory that is conquered to prevent the return of terror groups.
The operation, to be called “Gideon’s Chariots” is slated to begin in approximately two weeks, following the conclusion of Trump’s visit to the Middle East.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is expected to arrive in Israel for a visit ahead of Trump’s Middle East tour.
Stop pushing evrything off and finish the job.
If you have an opportunity, use it well.
Besides the point, stop looking at America the whole time and just do what’s good for your own Jewish citizens!
And with full confidence.
