By Adina Landa, Creator of CALM & CONFIDENT CHABAD MOM TRIBE
So often, in the self-help space, people ask, “But how do you know these tools are in line with Torah and Chassidus?”
I understand the question.
We want to grow as chassidim and work on ourselves (avodah) but we also don’t want to compromise our values and ch”v internalize anything that would be against our hashkafos.
Sometimes it can feel like a tricky line to toe and balance to make.
I don’t think they have to be in competition with each other and that a discerning chossid can weed out what doesn’t belong and what does.
However, I recently read an amazing new book: Letters for Life, by Levi Shmotkin.
And my first thought was: every Lubavitcher needs to read this book.
And my second thought was: This would be perfect to do inside The Calm & Confident Chabad Mom Tribe Membership – an ongoing community of Chabad Moms working on themselves to show up as the calm and confident mothers and shluchos they want to be.
Every year I create a different workbook with tools and resources and after reading Letters for Life, I created a workbook based off the book Letters for Life.
You won’t have to wonder if any of it is in line with Torah and Chassidus.
Now, you will KNOW. Every tool and concept we work on will be gleaned directly off of stories and letters of the Rebbe.
I am mailing a hard copy of both Letters for Life and the workbook I created to go along with it, to every single person who is in The Calm & Confident Chabad Mom Tribe Membership by the end of January 6.
We start with brand new content in January 2025 (although you have access on the Membership Site to everything we’ve done until now).
And not just any content – the Rebbe’s advice for life. It’ll be like a year of farbrengens. Of discussing and integrating the Rebbe’s approach to worry, discontent, anxiety, self-criticism, purpose, meaning, motherhood…..
It’s going to be amazing and all Chabad Moms are welcome into the amazingness.
ABOUT THE CALM & CONFIDENT CHABAD MOM TRIBE:
WHO: For Chabad Moms (typically 20-45 years of age)
WHAT: A growth oriented space with weekly group calls to take moms from stressed or overwhelmed to calm and confident. It’s a coaching container where we work on all the things – ourselves, parenting, our marriage, our relationships with our kids etc.
A little about me: I’m a Shlucha in Northern California, proud mom of 6, and a Life Coach for Chabad Moms. I created this space of The Calm & Confident Chabad Mom Tribe because I don’t think we’re meant to do motherhood alone. And now you don’t have to. Ever. It’s a community of loving supportive like-minded growth oriented Chabad Moms.

Everyone would benefit from working with her. She’s life changing!
I’m in the process of reading this book.
What a resource.
Our Rebbe’s words are so relevant every single day.
Thank you Rabbi Shmotkin for this.
Hatzlacha to Adina Landa.
