A perpetrator was arrested on Thursday afternoon after breaking into a Crown Heights home.
Residents returned to their house near Crown St and Albany Ave at approximately 12:00 PM to find the perpetrator inside. She at first told them she lived there before running away.
Crown Heights Shmira and NYPD officers quickly responded and apprehended her nearby.

This is a serious situation whereby the Mentally Ill are not properly taken care of by the Federal Government in each State. This woman definitely looks to be a victim of this nature, & not one of a dangerous crime. (At least now she’ll get cleaned up & properly fed if incarcerated.)
Everyone needs to take 150% responsibility to make sure that their doors & windows are firmly locked before exiting their homes. Unfortunately, there’s many dangerous criminals out there who’re always on the prowl.

This woman banged on our car door and tried to open it on Sunday. It was scary.
There are plenty of mental cases out there & if not shes acting the part very well…..
