Starting with intense preparation leading up to Yud Shevat, continuing with special Shiurim and Farbrengens by guest and in house Rabonim and Mashpiim, Chodesh Shevat was a month to remember in Tomchei Temimim – Chovevei Torah.
After thirty days of preparation with an intense increase in learning, particularly the Rebbe’s Torah, the Bochurim at Tomchei Temimim – Chovevei Torah celebrated Yud Shevat with a festive Farbrengen led by Rabbi Mendel Blau and Rabbi Shlomo Sternberg. They were joined by the Talmidim of Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore along with others that came to the Rebbe for Yud Shevat.
Some of the highlights of the month: A special Farbrengen in honor of Chof Beis Shevat with Rabbi Ephraim Piekarski from Morristown, a Melave Malkah with Rabbi Yosef Katzman, 15th of Shevat Farbrengens, special Shiurim in Halacha by Rabbi Boruch Hertz from Chicago, Dayan Levi Yitzchok Raskin from London and Rabbi Levi Heber from Crown Heights.
The two months of Adar will be infused with a special initiative of granting a tremendous gift to the Rebbe in honor of Yud Alef Nissan – 120 Years. This will involve and enrich every part of their day, and that will most definitely cause tremendous Nachas to the Rebbe.

Rabbi Sternberg is a very special genuine Yid. He’s knowledgeable in nigleh and chassidus and applies the Rebbe’s hashkafas to bochorim in a very down to earth way. He put together an absolutely amazing staff and the gashmius at chovevei is tops.. The care each bochor receives is unique and helps talmid exceed to reach their top goals.
