When a new kosher pizza shop opens in Palm Beach County, Florida, it creates quite a buzz amongst the local Jewish community. The same can certainly be said when a new kosher grocery, butcher, deli, bakery, and Judaica store opens in the growing community. So, when they all open on the same day and under the same roof, the excitement is palpable.
It’s no wonder then, that when KC Market in Boynton Beach opened the doors to its new 40k sq. ft. megastore for the unofficial soft opening, the community was already lined up in droves. To locals, this store brings a long-awaited kosher oasis for a thriving Jewish community.
“Previously, we had to go on the community chat to find out if anyone had the ingredients we were looking for, or drive 25 minutes to Boca Raton,” explained retired financial services and technology consultant and Boynton resident, Mr. Leslie Srolovits. “Now, this amazing all-encompassing KC Market has opened up in our town.”
For those involved in bringing this project to life, the community was the motivation behind it all. “As we’ve developed this idea into this beautiful reality, we worked closely with the local Jewish community at each step of the way,” said KC Market owner Yossi Gopin. “Immediately, we realized this would need to be a whole lot more than a simple grocery market.”
Thus, borrowing on the idea he pioneered in his original KC Market store in Hollywood, Florida, Gopin decided to bring a true one-stop kosher shop to Boynton Beach.
True to form, the new KC Market will delight shoppers with its variety of options and choices. Bringing its renowned fresh in-house deli, bakery, butchery, grocery, and produce sections to Boynton, in addition to a full lineup of vendors, including Shloimy’s Hummus, Mizrachi’s Pizza Kitchen, Rollmasters Sushi, SF Kosher Fish Market, Bloom Bar by Posh Petal and coming soon, a sister location for Cohen’s Judaica store from Boca Raton, two full-scale kosher restaurants and a full-service pharmacy.
“Overnight, Boynton went from a community desperate for its first kosher option to a city offering the kosher consumer everything they can imagine and so much more,” explained Gopin. “Instead of filling one pressing need, why not solve them all under one roof?” No matter their needs, kosher shoppers in Boynton Beach and greater Palm Beach County are thrilled to welcome KC Market – a kosher and Jewish oasis – right here in their own backyard.
