Enhance your skills. Teach with confidence. Take your chinuch to extraordinary heights.
This summer, Igud Hamelamdim, the renowned Lubavitch chinuch organization, is proud to announce its 11th Gold Star Teachers’ Training Course, taking place both in-person in Crown Heights and live online via Zoom.
This year’s highly anticipated course will be presented exclusively by the acclaimed Rabbi Michel Rottenberg, a master mechanech and teacher trainer with over 30 years of expertise.
“The uniqueness of this year is that the training will be led solely by Rabbi Rottenberg, just like it was in the very first course. He is putting together a deluxe 4-night program, covering all domains, to ensure participants walk out fully prepared to have tremendous success in the classroom,” says Rabbi Avrohom Bluming, Director of Igud Hamelamdim.
Having earned an exceptional reputation for its practical, results-driven approach, Igud’s Teachers’ Training Course is trusted by educators nationwide. Participants consistently praise its time-tested methods, engaging delivery, and real-life classroom strategies that bring immediate positive results.
Many graduates of the program have gone on to hold distinguished teaching positions in schools across the country. Rabbi Reuven Mizrahi, a 6th grade Rebbi at Darchai Menachem of Crown Heights, shares his personal success story:
“Before I took the course, I felt I did a decent job as a teacher, but I knew I was missing key skills like effective classroom management and engaging students in active learning. After taking the course, my abilities blossomed in an unbelievable way. There was structure and order in my classroom, the talmidim were actively and lovingly involved in learning, and I truly felt connected to my students.”
Course Highlights:
•Night 1: Standards & procedures: Setting up your classroom for success
•Night 2: Active participation: Keeping all students engaged every moment
•Night 3: Providing essential needs for every student & building effective relationships
•Night 4: How to give over a shiur: Teaching essential skills in Chumash and Gemara
And so much more!
BONUS: Participants will receive follow-up coaching sessions, ensuring you have ongoing support as you implement your new skills in the classroom.
Whether you’re considering to go into Chinuch or you’re a seasoned mechanech looking to refine your craft, this unique course offers practical tools, powerful insights, and inspiration to revolutionize your teaching.

why does that need to happen specifically after teaching them the teitch? Why can’t you do this process of having “them teach the pasuk” so to speak, and then teach them the teitch?
This doesn’t seem to answer the question of which one should go first, more than just give a (powerful!) tool on how to teach havanah per se
You got a taste attend the full course to get satisfied!
Rabbi Rottenberg doesn’t pick his methods out of a hat :), they’ve been tested and proven thousands of times.
