Over 600 people from various Crown Heights Shuls joined for a Chanukah ice skating event at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Sunday, the 8th night of Chanukah.
The crowd enjoyed hot latkes, doughnuts and pizza and family ice skating to Jewish music at the Le Frak rink.
The highlight of the event was the lighting of a 6 foot carved ice Menorah, attended by Rabbi Levi Garelik.
Chanukah gelt was distributed to the over 300 children in attendance by Bais Shmuel President Rabbi Moshe Pinson.
The event was organized by Bais Shmuel Chabad of Crown Heights.

When bais shmuel arranges and subsidizes most of it they normally get the credit.
I love that this article mentions Bais Shmuel, but what about the other shuls such as Chabad Heights and the great work of Rabbi Kirchenbaum…We were all proud to be there as Chabad. Great time felt by all…
