As one of the most joyous days on the Jewish calendar, Lag B’omer—the yom hahilula of the Tanna Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai—is a יום סגולה ועת רצון, an auspicious day to elicit brochos and yeshuos from Hashem in the zechus of Rashbi.
The legendary pilgrimage to Rashbi’s resting place in Meron is also seen by many as an opportunity to daven for everything they need, materially and spiritually. Across the globe as well, Yidden take the opportunity on the auspicious day of Lag B’omer to visit kivrei tzaddikim and invoke the zechus of their holy souls on high to beseech on their behalf.
The Rebbe has taught that there is a unique value in visiting the Ohel on the day of Lag B’omer, as illustrated in the following passages selected from his teachings.

Seizing the opportunity of this auspicious day, and to allow for as many people as possible to visit the Ohel, comfortable coach buses will be shuttling the eager crowds back and forth from Crown Heights throughout the day of Lag B’omer—from early morning until close to midnight—free of charge.
Trips will be in luxurious air-conditioned coach buses, and each person will receive a water bottle. Men, women, and children are invited, free of charge.
