A large crowd of men and women from the Crown Heights community attended an evening of inspiration and rededication to mark 70 years of the Rebbe’s leadership and the Hilula of the Frierdiker Rebbe on Yud Shvat.
The theme of the event titled “To Build a Beautiful World” was designed with the goal of inspiring participants to rededicate ourselves to our special mission.
The event at the Razag Hall was produced by Menachem Benchemon and was expertly designed by Chani Greenbaum. Elegant refreshments greeted guests before they took their seats in the beautifully designed event room decorated throughout with exquisite flower arrangements.
The event featured renowned lecturer and author Rabbi Shais Taub, who enthralled the audience with an explanation of the Maamar Basi Legani, divided into four sections highlighting four topics: Our Rebbe, Our Generation, Our Connection and Our Mission. The talk was accompanied by a stirring musical presentation led by Eli Marcus and The Rabin Brothers, along with an 8-piece orchestra directed by Avremi G.
The event was planned as being “focused, and organized, with the goal of motivating attendees to leave with both a clear understanding and actionable takeaways of the work that needs to be done,” Benchemon said.
Many of those in attendance and the thousands who tuned in online related their excitement at the truly special event, and said they very moved by the speech and the niggunim.
